I am stunned and awed that in spite of
all the brokenness in the world,
there is an underlying Pattern of Wholeness
that is willfully and with increasing
intentionality finding its expression.
This Pattern of Wholeness expresses
as the Heart and Soul of each of us finding
our life purpose and finding the way
to be ourselves fully and lovingly.
My spiritual father Bernard Jensen (1908-2001)
was a storyteller of health and an Enchanted Gardener
of deep Heart and Soul.
He would say in his simple "Nature Boy" kinda style
that when you stepped on the tail of a cat,
it was the other end that screamed.
Holistic Health, the emerging trend that has its roots
in Integrative Medicine of today, now knows that when
we run too much fear through our organs,
it is the kidneys that suffer.
One is connected to the other.
The new millennium now brings us another advance in consciousness.
Our immediate environment is an outpicturing of the healthy
or unhealthy emotions we are expressing, the health of our body,
and the healthy condition of our surroundings.
By altering the arrangement of objects,
we alter the flow of energy through our lives,
our organs, and our emotions. One is connected to the other.
Each is a expression of the Pattern of Wholeness.
There are Designers, Architects, Artists, Environmentalists
among us now who inherently know
and understand this Pattern of Wholeness.
They are in a movement, a movement in consciousness
identified by different names in different traditions.
They are here to record through their lives
the History of Peace on Earth.
It is my honor to show you their faces.
It is my honor to show their smiles.
It is my gift to have been among them with my camera
at the International Feng Shui Conference
in San Luis Obispo, held August 5-10, 2004.
