Capital Park is right outside the door
at the California State Capital in Sacramento.
I was in Sacramento for a week learning the lay of the land
from Senator John Vasconcellos, an elder Enchanted Garden
Member and signer of the World Peace Celebration Declaration
of Interdependence. John took me unexpectedly to meet Gov. Davis
at a special evening dinner. John and I were in street clothes. I know
very little about politics as usual and a lot of politics as possible.
I took an instant liking to the Governor. The feeling was mutual.
He said he never met anyone like me. He asked "Would you
like to be our Historian?" I said, "No, I want to be Your
Enchanted Gardener." There is a new Governor now.
I will be glad to go meet him and let him know that
that Feng Shui Practitioners are Sustainable Living innovators.
I will recommend that he and his staff be in touch with you
to help design our state's future
and the future of a Sustainable World.
On August 5, 2005, during the Opening Ceremonies
of the IFSC '05 SD, led by Your Enchanted Gardener,
we as Feng Shui Practitioners saw ourselves
more clearly as Sustainable Living Innovators.
On the same morning, as the same Hilton San Diego Resort,
The Prez of the Hilton, Matthew J. Hart, was welcomed into the Cal State Green Lodging Program State CIWMB head, Rosario Marin.
If I Have My Way, your name will also be listed as a Feng Shui Resource
on the links page of the California Integrated Waste management Board (CIWMB). You will be called upon to consult and advise on various
design and architecture projects across the US of A
and around the World.
"Green Hotels" and Environmental Planning
are now becoming more and more in fashion.
It was my honor to have brought organic locally-grown foods
into the Hilton during our Conference, taking steps to
go beyond the Criteria now in place for the Green Lodging Program.
It was my honor to work full time for three months prior
to the conference in behalf of
every Feng Shui Practitioner on this planet.
I saw an opportunity to help redefine and reinvigorate
the Feng Shui movement Internationally.
If I Have My Way, I will continue to serve
as Your Enchanted Gardener.
